Submission Rules
Rules for Adding Websites / Links
Please read these guidelines before submitting a website to our directory.
1.Check before submitting
Before adding a website, use the search bar to check whether the exact URL is already listed in our directory.
The same URL cannot be added more than once. However, different URL paths and subdomains may be submitted separately. For example, if example.com is already listed, you may still submit example.com/forum or forum.example.com.
Different pages, communities or groups on the same domain may therefore have separate entries, provided each submission meets these guidelines. Minor formatting changes, such as switching between HTTP and HTTPS, adding a trailing slash or changing a URL fragment, do not make the same address a new submission.
2.Provide accurate website details
Enter the website URL, a clear title and a useful description. Select the relevant main category first, then choose one subcategory. Main categories cannot be selected as the final placement.
Check automatically retrieved titles and descriptions before submitting. Information should accurately describe the website and should not contain misleading claims, keyword stuffing or unrelated promotional text.
3.Prohibited and unwanted websites
We do not accept websites that contain, promote or fall into any of the following categories:
- Abuse or exploitation of humans or animals.
- Illegal sexual or pornographic content.
- Fake websites, scams, phishing or other fraudulent activity.
- Disruptive interfaces or excessive pop-ups. A maximum of one pop-up is permitted.
- Inactive websites, dead pages or destinations that do not work.
- Websites under construction or substantially incomplete projects, including forums with insufficient content or activity.
- Websites whose main content can only be viewed after registration or login. We must be able to inspect the actual content without creating an account or signing in. This applies equally to shops, forums and all other types of websites. A publicly visible login page or landing page alone is not sufficient for review.
- Clearnet websites without a proper domain name or HTTPS encryption. Tor onion services use .onion addresses and are assessed separately; the clearnet domain and HTTPS requirements do not automatically exclude them.
- Social media websites and profiles, including YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X and similar platforms.
4.Use a valid email address
Your submission must be associated with a real, valid and reachable email address.
Temporary, disposable, trash-mail, masked, forwarded and email-obfuscation services are not accepted. Submissions associated with these addresses may be rejected.
5.Linking to HiddenWeb
A backlink is not generally required to submit a website.
However, if your website links to other underground directories or similar websites but does not include a link to HiddenWeb, we reserve the right to reject the submission.
6.Manual review and approval
All new website submissions are manually reviewed before publication. Review normally takes up to 48 hours; it may take longer when additional checks are needed or many submissions are waiting.
Submitting a website does not guarantee approval. Please do not submit the same URL repeatedly while it is awaiting review. Registered members can check their submission status in My Links.
7.Rejections and serious violations
A website that does not meet our quality requirements will normally be rejected. A quality-related rejection does not normally result in an account ban.
A permanent account ban is reserved for serious violations of the prohibited website rules. Do not use another account, a subdomain or a different URL to bypass a ban or resubmit rejected content.
If you have a question about a submission or believe a decision was made in error, use our contact form and include the relevant website URL.
