Important Information
Advertising bookings are reviewed separately from regular website submissions. Therefore, websites that do not meet certain regular Submission Rules may still be accepted for paid advertising.
Strictly Prohibited
The following content is not accepted under any circumstances, including paid advertising:
- Abuse of Humans or Animals
- Illegal Sexual or Pornographic Content
- Fake or Scam Sites
Exceptions for Paid Advertising
During an active advertising booking, exceptions may be made for the following regular Submission Rules:
- Annoying User Interfaces — maximum 1 popup
- Inactive or Dead Pages
- Under Construction or Incomplete Websites
- Sites without a Top-Level Domain or HTTPS encryption
- Social media websites such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, or similar platforms
Listing Duration
If a website is accepted through a paid advertising booking but does not meet our regular Submission Rules, its directory listing is temporary and linked to the advertising period.
The website will remain in our directory for the duration of the active booking.
Once the advertising period expires, the website will be removed from our database if it still does not meet our regular Submission Rules.
Websites that meet our regular Submission Rules at the end of the advertising period may remain listed.
General Conditions
All advertising requests are manually reviewed. HiddenWeb reserves the right to reject any booking request at its own discretion.
The advertising period begins once payment has been confirmed and the advertisement has been activated.
HiddenWeb does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, visitors, registrations, sales, conversions, or other results.
Advertisers are responsible for ensuring that all submitted URLs, banners, images, website content, and advertising materials are accurate and comply with these conditions.
Significant changes to the advertised website, destination URL, or advertising material may require a new review.
If an advertised website substantially changes after approval, violates these advertising conditions, or contains prohibited content, HiddenWeb reserves the right to terminate the advertising campaign and remove the associated listing immediately.
Service Availability & Downtime
HiddenWeb does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the website, advertising placements, directory listings, or related services.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to server outages, maintenance, technical issues, software updates, network problems, hosting provider incidents, security measures, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Short-term interruptions do not entitle the advertiser to a refund, compensation, or other reimbursement.
If a significant outage caused by HiddenWeb results in an advertisement being unavailable for an extended period, HiddenWeb may, at its discretion, extend the advertising period by an appropriate amount of time.
Limitation of Liability
HiddenWeb shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
This includes, but is not limited to, hosting provider failures, network outages, DDoS attacks, power failures, hardware failures, security incidents, third-party service failures, natural disasters, or governmental actions.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, HiddenWeb's total liability in connection with an advertising booking shall not exceed the amount paid by the advertiser for the affected booking.

Frequently asked questions about advertising on HiddenWeb.
In some cases, yes. Paid advertising bookings may receive temporary exceptions from certain regular Submission Rules for the duration of the advertising period.
However, Abuse of Humans or Animals, Illegal Sexual or Pornographic Content, and Fake or Scam Sites are never accepted.
Depending on the selected advertising option, your website may also be added to our directory for the duration of your advertising booking.
If your website meets our regular Submission Rules, the listing may remain after the advertising period has ended.
Your advertisement will be removed when the booked advertising period expires.
If your website was added to our directory through an advertising exception and does not meet our regular Submission Rules, the directory listing will also be removed.
If the website meets our regular Submission Rules, it may remain listed.
Yes. Social media websites such as YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, X, and similar platforms may be accepted for paid advertising.
However, they are normally not accepted as regular directory submissions.
Yes, this may be permitted as part of a paid advertising booking.
These websites are normally excluded under our regular Submission Rules, but an exception may be granted for the duration of an active advertising booking.

Yes. If the advertised website changes substantially after approval, violates our advertising conditions, or contains prohibited content, the advertisement and associated directory listing may be removed immediately.
No refund will be provided if an advertising campaign is terminated due to a violation of these conditions.
Short-term outages, maintenance, technical issues, or other temporary interruptions do not automatically entitle advertisers to a refund or compensation.
If a significant outage caused by HiddenWeb results in an advertisement being unavailable for an extended period, the advertising period may be extended by an appropriate amount of time.
Temporary downtime of the advertised website does not automatically terminate an advertising booking.
However, websites that remain unavailable for an extended period may be reviewed, and HiddenWeb reserves the right to remove the advertisement if necessary.
Changes to the destination website, URL, banner, or other advertising material may require a new review.
Please contact us before making significant changes or replacing the advertised website with another website.
